I can generally take or leave him. I know I know. Blasphemy and sacrelidge, but there it is.
Oh, except for a Tale of Two Cities. I really loved that one a lot. Yum.

I've read great expectations and the violence towards Pip, and the weakness of his father, annoyed me to distraction.
It's a kind of emotional blackmail by dickens because you always want Pip to succeed. And I resent being blackmailed by writers.

Um, only read Great Expectations, and I loved it! It's great! My favorite character has to be magwitch.
